cracks forming everywhere around
it begins to give way
ready to release from the weight of it
erupting slivers of agony
cascading teardrops searing the flesh
the foundation is broken
melting into oblivion
the rock to ground you
in this realm is gone.
questioning many things
feeling shredded
knowing things will never be the same.
defiant to find clarity
demanding to find reason
to justify what cannot be undone
speechless.
